Gate Safety Edges. Rubber and CE marked and Certified sold in lengths from 1.2 to 6 metres. 

The CMO was certified on 31/12/2009 Part 2 Validation as a Category 3 Safety Edge, in accordance to the standard and / or technical specifications of EN ISO 13849-2.  Please refer to DFM Automazioni or the PDF attached for further details.

This gate safety edge provide an very effective means of cut out in case of emergency, and do not fail in operation if a single micro-switch fails.  Also they will stop the gate if the wire breakes or becomes out of calibration.

The CMO edge was developed specifically to meet the latest standards, and offers many advantages.  It is simple to cut down and does not rely on the use of glue for it to be waterproof.  The CMO senses right to the bottom of the edge.

 

Please note - These edges can simply be cut down if too large. Instructions included in shipment

Important - As with all types of safety edges the catagory classification does depend on the system as a whole.  The other electronics e.g/ control board / self test and wireless transmittor receiver can alter the category classification.
