The strong-arm system is an easy to install electric gate operator, particularly useful where the gates are mounted in between the middle of large gate piers

It gets around the problem where linear motors won't reach and the underground gate operators are not suitable.

It is available in 12VDC or 230VAC motor versions, with the 12v version having battery back up and the 230v one has soft stop built into the PCB. Both are very silent in their operation and very easy to install.
