The way to choose your system is to pick a motor based on the weight of your gate.  The options we provide are a 400kg low voltage system with battery back up, a 800kg 230v system for larger gates, or a 1500kg intensive use oil immersed motor for large / industrial gates.  Our competitors offer 500kg, 600kg and 1000kg etc, but we know that the difference in price between a 500kg motor and a 800kg is minimal, and we encourage you to fit a motor that is on top of the job. 

Larger gates

On large gates above 1000kg in weight we recommend intensive use motors only, we know they cost a little more, but the heat generated in the motor when moving 1000kg requires an oil immersed motor for a longer trouble free life.  Any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
